Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris to discuss support for Ukraine in the war with Russia, containment of the conflict in Gaza, and options for stabilizing Haiti.
Secretary Blinken will also meet with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay to affirm U.S. support for UNESCO’s core mission, including cultural preservation and education.
The U.S. secretary of state will go to Brussels, Belgium, later this week, where he will participate in a three-way meeting with European Union leaders and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
