Today, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are hosting the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn.
The theme of the event is a continuation of the first lady’s “Eggucation” of the past two years. Educational activities be featured, such as a reading nook, snacktime tent, physical “eggucation” zone, and “field trip to the farm” for children to learn how farmers produce food. A schoolhouse will offer activities in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The White House announced, “In total, approximately 40,000 people will take part in this year’s Easter ‘EGGucation’ Roll, including thousands of military and veteran families, caregivers, and survivors.“ The U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Army bands will be performing.
