Today, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are attending campaign events in Raleigh, North Carolina.
On her last visit to the state, Vice President Harris announced funding under the president’s American Rescue Plan for minority and women-led capital firms. The vice president stated, “Not everyone has access to opportunity, but when provided with access, the talent is there, the capacity is there, the drive is there, the ambition is there.”
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper said, “Investments in historically underutilized businesses will help transform our communities and provide equal opportunities for everyone to succeed.”
