Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12
Shine His Light!
A tactical flashlight has been created with a beam that could be seen five nautical miles away (5.75 miles). Light from lighthouses is visible over 20 miles away. A study conducted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology said the human eye could see the light of a candle 10 miles away, appearing as bright as a star. If you are in spiritual darkness, Jesus is the only One who can illuminate your soul. And, just as He is the Light of the world, He has called you to also be light to those in your sphere. How far does your light shine? Draw nearer to the Lord as you pray for the things that concern you, and as you intercede for the nation and those in positions of authority. Your light will gleam ever brighter as you reflect the light of Jesus.
