Today, the House Financial Services Committee, chaired by Representative Patrick McHenry of North Carolina, will hear testimony from executives and academics regarding the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s recent action addressing fees in the credit card and private equity industry.
The House Armed Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation, chaired by Representative Mike Rogers of Alabama, will receive testimony from outside experts on the integral role software plays in Defense Department systems and how to acquire and deploy it for rapid innovation.
The House Veterans Affairs Committee, chaired by Representative Mike Bost of Illinois, will join the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, chaired by Senator Jon Tester of Montana, to examine the legislative presentation of the American Legion and multiple veterans service organizations.
