Today, President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, and Vice President Kamala Harris are welcoming state governors to the White House during the National Governors Association (NGA) Winter Meeting.
They will hear from the governors regarding issues that face their respective states and discuss the opportunities presented by federal investments to support infrastructure, manufacturing, employment, and addressing the cost of living.
At the winter meeting agenda today, Governor Spencer Cox of Utah, who is the current NGA chair, is hosting a plenary session in which U.S. Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Amy Coney Barrett will discuss “How to Disagree Agreeably.”
