The Federal Communications Commission is holding an open meeting today. The public is invited to attend in person at the FCC headquarters in Washington, D.C., or via live streaming.
The commission is considering the proposal of a rule to simplify the process for alert originators to send multilingual emergency alerts over television and radio.
Members of the commission are also considering updates that would strengthen consumers’ ability to revoke consent for and stop receiving robocalls and robotexts.
The FCC will examine rules for a framework for licensing space stations engaged in in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing operations that can support sustained economic activity in space.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Chair Jessica Rosenworcel to be led by the Lord as she oversees the FCC’s agenda.
- For discernment for members of the commission as they consider the various proposed rules and updates.
- For the president and administration officials as they advocate for consumer protections and explore in-space economic opportunities.
