CMS shows more than 5 million new enrollees for 2024.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) reported in January that 21.3 million Americans have enrolled under Obamacare health insurance for 2024, the highest number recorded in a single year. According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, over 5 million people are new enrollees, and more were expected to enroll in the four states and the District of Columbia where enrollment closed on January 31.
“For decades, when it came to federal programs we could depend on to keep Americans covered, three were always top of mind — Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, but now it’s crystal clear that we need to add a fourth — the Affordable Care Act,” said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Becerra to be led by God as he oversees the Department of Health and Human Services.
- For officials in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as they administer the Affordable Care Act health coverage plans.
