Sexual harassment allegations in the agency are being compiled into a report.
President Joe Biden appointed Jennifer Fain as the new Inspector General for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) this week, placing a new leader in charge of ongoing internal investigations uncovering the extent of workplace sexual harassment within the government agency. In November, interviews with former female employees of the FDIC were published, alleging sexual harassment from many of their male colleagues.
The new inspector general has over 22 years of experience working for agency inspector generals, which serve as the internal watchdog for government organizations. Apart from Fain’s confirmation as the FDIC Inspector General, the FDIC did not make any additional announcement.
“For ongoing audit or evaluation work, the OIG limits comments to the scope or objectives of the review,” the FDIC Office of Inspector General stated on their website. “We will not discuss findings and recommendations until a final report is issued.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Inspector General Fain to receive God’s direction as she fulfills her new role in the FDIC.
- For the president and members of his administration as they address sexual harassment and discrimination in government agencies.
