No servant can serve two masters. – Luke 16:13
In today’s verse, Jesus expresses a truth that touches deeply into your life’s journey: you are unable to serve the world and God simultaneously. Your heart and devotion must be singularly focused. Take time today to examine your allegiances. Are you divided between the pursuit of earthly treasure and the path of righteousness? Jesus calls you to choose Him as your Master, for His love is unwavering, His guidance is true, and His grace is boundless. As you reflect on this passage, renew your commitment to Christ, keeping your heart wholly devoted to your Lord and Savior. By surrendering to His loving lordship, you will find the fulfillment and purpose your soul has longed for. Serve God intentionally, with dedication, knowing that in Christ alone, you will discover the abundant life He created you to embrace.
As the Lord leads, pray with us…
- For U.S. public servants as the federal, state, and local levels to fulfill their roles with honesty and integrity.
- For the president, members of Congress, and judges of the federal judiciary to remember the oaths they took to serve the nation.
