U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo is visiting Brasilia, Brazil, this week.
Secretary Raimondo is co-chairing the 12th Plenary of the U.S.-Brazil CEO Forum. The Commerce Department stated, “During her visit, Raimondo will meet with government officials and business leaders to discuss trade and investment opportunities, areas of cooperation on climate action, and the importance of supply chain resilience.“
The commerce secretary is seeking to advance U.S. commercial interests in Latin America and strengthen the U.S.-Brazil bilateral relationship.
