National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan is meeting with Chinese Communist Party Central Committee Foreign Affairs Commission Office Director Wang Yi at the White House today. President Joe Biden may also speak with Director Wang.
U.S. and Chinese officials continue to negotiate the possible meeting between Presidents Joe Biden and Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco next month.
Director Wang will also meet with Secretary of State Antony Blinken during his stay in Washington, D.C.
