Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. – Psalm 119:105
Have you ever tried to walk through a room without any light? Unless you are gifted spatially or know the layout of the room extremely well, you likely bumped into or even tripped over something in the dark. How about walking outdoors at night in a rural setting with no moon and no streetlights? That might be an even greater challenge, unless it were quite a level field or road. Consider how many people are roaming about in spiritual darkness these days. As they grope around without His principles to guide them, how often these poor people stumble, trip, or fall down. As you consider today’s verse, reflect on how gracious the Heavenly Father is to gave provided the Son of God to be the Light of the world. Spend some time today in praise and express your gratitude to the Lord for His lovingkindness and tender mercy in drawing you out of the darkness!
As the Lord leads, pray with us…

- That Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm would seek the Lord’s direction as she heads the department.
