U.S. Representative Cory Mills of Florida is helping Americans evacuate from Israel. He stated that, after that nation was attacked by Hamas terrorists, he felt “helping and showing solidarity with our Israeli brethren and helping Americans evacuate” was necessary.
Congressman Mills, a veteran of the U.S. Army and defense contractor, said, “I support Israel’s right to defend itself, its citizens, and eliminate the terrorists threatening the stability of the region.”
The first-term representative participated in the rescue of an American family from Afghanistan after the U.S. military withdrew. He says that hundreds of U.S. citizens remain trapped in Israel.
The State Department has confirmed at least 22 Americans have been killed and an unknown number are hostages of Hamas.
