The administration makes an effort to counter antisemitism.
Seven Cabinet departments recently released fact sheets outlining religious rights violations within their areas of jurisdiction. The Departments of Agriculture, Labor, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Homeland Security, Interior, and Treasury all committed to making the terms of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act more evident, in an effort to mutually address the growth of antisemitic rhetoric and actions in the United States.
These fact sheets are a part of the Strategy to Counter Antisemitism of President Biden’s administration. “The Strategy—which reflects input from over 1,000 Jewish community stakeholders, faith and civil rights leaders, State and local officials, and more—also serves as a blueprint for tackling other forms of bigotry, hate, and bias that fuel toxic divisions in America,” President Joe Biden wrote in the strategy’s forward. “Through this U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, we are taking a historic step forward.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and Cabinet secretaries as they seek to address antisemitism.
- For U.S. officials in the seven federal departments as they make an effort to reduce discrimination.
