Finding Power
Today’s verse comes from King David’s song of thanksgiving after the Ark of the Covenant had been brought back to Jerusalem and placed in the Tabernacle. In Exodus 22, when Moses was given directions for constructing the Ark, God promised it would be a place where He would meet with His people. On the mercy seat between the two cherubim was where God had His throne on Earth. The Israelites had the promise of His presence and with it His strength and power. Since the atonement made at the cross by Jesus, God’s presence is personal. His Holy Spirit indwells every believer, continually. His power and strength are accessible to you. Let His presence release you from any feelings of weakness or frailty today. You can trust Him!
