FDA recently approved updated shots from Moderna and Pfizer.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Mandy Cohen has approved a universal recommendation for Moderna and Pfizer’s updated COVID-19 vaccines.
The Food and Drug Administration recently authorized updated vaccines from drug manufacturers Pfizer and Moderna to keep up with the latest COVID-19 subvariant, Eris. The CDC’s top panel of advisers voted 13-1 to recommend the vaccines for all Americans older than 6 months of age.
“We have more tools than ever to prevent the worst outcomes from COVID-19,” said Director Cohen.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Director Cohen to seek the Lord’s direction as she heads the CDC.
- For CDC officials as they evaluate the various threats to public health going into autumn.
- For FDA researchers as they assess and recommend inoculations and medications to address illnesses.
