It is not for you to know times and seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. – Acts 1:7
After Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, His disciples asked if He was going to restore the kingdom of Israel. Jesus’ response in today’s verse shows the authority of the Father over times and seasons and the necessity of trusting Him with that. While it is challenging to walk by faith, not even knowing what the next hour may bring, it is wonderful to know that Almighty God holds your life and outcome in His hands! Christ Jesus promised He would return, restore the kingdom, and that believers will be with Him, worshipping Him as King for eternity. You can be a witness to His kingship and lordship while you walk this Earth, joyfully living out your days in praise and devotion to the Creator of all. Pray today for those who do not realize what their future holds, that they would seek the One who created them and gives them life.
