God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19
So many things have changed in society in recent years that it can be challenging to see beyond supply chain shortages and inflation. However, Jesus told His followers that the Father in heaven knows exactly what you need (Matthew 6:32). In today’s verse, Paul wrote to that God will take care of your needs. He also urged believers to make their requests known to God (Philippians 4:6). He said to bring all your concerns to the Lord in prayer, remembering to thank Him for everything He’s already done for you. The apostle James tells you that you don’t have because you have not asked (James 4:2) When you put all these passages together, you get the big picture of God as the Source and Provider. Today, present your need to the Lord and He will supply it. He can do what is not possible for humans (Mark 10:27). Intercede for those in government office, those who do not know Jesus will see their need for Him and ask Him into their lives. Pray and make those requests known to God!
