Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to California. He will meet with tech executives from Silicon Valley and hold campaign events. First Lady Jill Biden visited Northern California this past week to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Giffords Law Center.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken is wrapping up his visit to Beijing today. State Department Press Secretary Matthew Miller stated, “Secretary Blinken will meet with senior PRC officials where he will discuss the importance of maintaining open lines of communication to responsibly manage the U.S.-PRC relationship.“
The press secretary continued, “He will also raise bilateral issues of concern, global and regional matters, and potential cooperation on shared transnational challenges.“
