Today, President Joe Biden is welcoming Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Jens Stoltenberg, to the White House.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated the two leaders will “discuss the upcoming NATO Summit in Vilnius, Lithuania.“
She continued, “President Biden and Secretary General Stoltenberg will review preparations for the Summit, including the work to further strengthen Allied deterrence and defense, build on the 2014 Wales Summit defense investment pledge, and deepen NATO’s partnerships.“ The press secretary said they will also discuss support for Ukraine in the war with Russia.
