Today, Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in Saudi Arabia, where he will participate in a U.S.-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial.
State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller said Secretary Blinken will “discuss the growing cooperation with our GCC partners to promote security, stability, de-escalation, regional integration, and economic opportunities across the Middle East.“
On Tuesday, Secretary Blinken met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He is scheduled to co-host a meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Riyadh tomorrow.
