For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. – Jeremiah 29:11
Today’s verse tells the believer that God knows what the future holds. He knows the plans for you yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Though followers of Christ cannot know what will happen from day to day, it is vital to remember that God does. He is the future and the hope of all those who believe in Him. Raising a child from birth to adulthood is not an easy task. Plans are made for their futures in the hope that they will become successful people, though things often turn out differently than expected. As you pray for your family and for this nation today, trust in the plans the Lord has for you and for them. Ask the Lord to show you how you can walk in His best plans for you and trust Him to guide your footsteps. Pray for government officials to look to Jesus to guide them in their decisions and choices for the future of this nation.
