Investigations continue into top-secret documents that were published online.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York has requested that President Biden’s administration brief a full session of the Senate about the top secret document leak from the Pentagon. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was informed of the leak in early April.
The documents reportedly contain intelligence regarding the support of Ukraine by the U.S. and NATO, including information supplied by U.S. allies. Secretary Austin said the U.S. will “turn over every rock” in seeking to find the source and motivation of the leak.
Some have suggested that the Pentagon documents have been “altered,” alleging that Russia is responsible. South Korean officials, also, claim a “considerable amount” of information in the leaked documents is “fabricated.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Senator Schumer as he fulfills his leadership role in Senate proceedings.
- For Defense Secretary Austin as investigations are made into the document leak.
- For the president and his advisers as they respond to the information breach and consider the request to brief the Senate.
