Today, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are staying at the Camp David presidential retreat in Frederick County, Maryland. They are expected to remain there for the Easter Weekend and will return to the White House on Sunday.
Following the catastrophic storms that struck the state of Tennessee at the end of March and beginning of April, the president approved the federal disaster declaration for Tennessee. The FEMA press release stated that the president “ordered Federal aid to supplement State, tribal, and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms.”
The statement also added, “Assistance can include grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs to help individuals and business owners recover from the effects of the disaster.”
