Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to Durham, North Carolina. He is planning to meet with state and local officials to discuss how the Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS and Science Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the American Rescue Plan are being used to partner with state and local governments.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the president will “kick off the Investing in America tour with a visit to Wolfspeed, a manufacturer of semiconductor chips that is investing $5 billion to expand their North Carolina operations and create 1,800 good-paying jobs right here at home.”
