Illegal migration surging in three states.
Two dozen Customs and Border Protection Agents are being moved from the southern border to the U.S. border with Canada.
A CBP official reported that there has been an “influx” of immigrants entering the U.S. from Canada into New York, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Agents report an 846 percent increase in migrant encounters between October and January when compared with the same months in 2021 and 2022.
Agents say Mexicans are the leading nationality at the northern border, flying from Mexico into Canada, where they then trek to the border. Haitians and Guatemalans are also widely represented.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Acting Commissioner Troy Miller as he oversees U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
- For Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz as he leads agents in attempts to secure the northern and southern borders.
- For Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to seek God’s direction as he heads DHS.
