He returned home from the hospital Saturday.
Former President James Earl Carter has experienced a number of health issues in recent years. At 98 years old, he is a survivor of metastatic brain cancer, and he also had brain surgery after a fall in late 2019. He returned from the hospital to his home in Georgia this past weekend.
The Carter Center stated on Saturday, “After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Carter as he opts for care at home among his loved ones.
- For the medical team caring for the former president.
- For comfort for President Carter and his family as he nears the end of his life.
