Transportation Department publishes notice of funding opportunity for 2023 fiscal year.
The Department of Transportation made $662 million available this week for the development of port infrastructure for the 2023 fiscal year. The department’s Maritime Administration will be distributing the funds through their Port Infrastructure Development Program, delegating discretionary grants to submitted project proposals that they deem most integral to the betterment of American ports.
“America’s ports play a central role in our supply chains,” said Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. “With today’s announcement, we are helping make our ports safer, more efficient, and more reliable—strengthening supply chains, reducing costs for the American people, and positioning us for economic success.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Buttigieg as he oversees awarding port development projects.
- For Maritime Administration officials as they review and consider the projects to receive grants.
