Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to the Camp David presidential retreat in Frederick County, Maryland. According to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, the president will take part in internal meetings with administration officials but has no public events on his schedule at this time.
Ahead of the weekend, President Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu following the terrorist attack on a Jerusalem synagogue. Press Secretary Jean-Pierre said, “The president made clear that this was an attack against the civilized world.” She added, “He offered all appropriate means of support to the Government and People of Israel over the coming days. The resident stressed the iron-clad U.S. commitment to Israel’s security, and agreed that his team would remain in constant touch with their Israeli counterparts.”
