50 countries met together at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
The Ukraine Defense Contact Group wrapped up their eighth meeting at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany last week. Leaders from more than 50 nations gathered to discuss how best to coordinate assistance for Ukraine and how the nations can work together to deliver the necessary equipment the defense needs to expel Russia from Ukraine’s borders.
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin joined the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army Gen. Mark A. Milley to praise the result of this most recent group meeting. “This contact group will not slow down,” Austin said. “We’re going to continue to dig deep. And based upon the progress that we’ve made today, I’m confident that Ukraine’s partners from around the globe are determined to meet this moment.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Austin as he guides the Department of Defense during this time of global unrest.
- That the Joint Chiefs of Staff continue to assess America’s resources to provide as much assistance to America’s allies as possible.
- For the president and administration officials as they work together with the world to achieve worldwide peace.
