Chair of House Oversight Committee expresses concerns over lack of visitor logs at president’s Wilmington home.
Representative James Comer of Kentucky, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said the American people deserve transparency after the disclosure from the White House Counsel regarding the lack of visitor logs at President Biden’s private Delaware residence. Congressman Comer said he would insist on getting answers from the White House regarding classified documents found at the president’s home and former offices that date from his vice presidency.
Representative Comer added, “We will continue to press the Biden Administration for answers about who had access to these classified documents and why Biden aides were permitted to rummage through the Wilmington residence after the appointment of a special counsel.”
The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability also issued a statement regarding the failure of the White House, the National Archives, or the Justice Department to “promptly inform Congress and the American people about mishandled classified documents from Joe Biden’s time as vice president.“
The committee raised questions regarding any further classified documents that could be insecurely stored. They stated that there are many answers needed and that “oversight is coming.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For members of the oversight committee as they seek to ensure the security of classified government documents.
- For the president and his administration to be honest and above board about the dealings and visitors to his Delaware home.
