Today, President Joe Biden will be welcoming Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan to the White House.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated they will discuss “a range of regional and global issues including the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s unlawful weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs, Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine, and maintaining peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.”
The press secretary added, “The leaders will celebrate the unprecedented strength of the U.S.-Japan Alliance and will set the course for their partnership in the year ahead.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and prime minister to be prudent in their discussions.
- For wisdom for both leaders as they address concerns about the Indo-Pacific.
- For God’s purposes to be accomplished through the meeting between President Biden and Prime Minister Kishida.
