Today, President Joe Biden is going to award the Presidential Citizens Medal to twelve individuals, including two law enforcement officers, in relation to the events that occurred at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
In bestowing these high civilian honors, the president will host a ceremony at the White House. According to the White House, the president will celebrate their “courage and selflessness” and “exemplary contributions to our democracy.”
