President Joe Biden has signed the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill that was recently passed by Congress.
The White House sent the bill on a commercial carrier to St. Croix, where the first family is spending the New Year holidays, so that the president could sign it before the government funding extension deadline expired.
President Biden has no public events scheduled on his agenda for the day.
