Labor Department adds 5 new partners to the VETS program.
The U.S. Department of Labor announced that five new partners have joined the Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, which assists veterans separating from the U.S. military. The new partners will be supporting the Employment Navigator and Partnership Pilot.
The Labor Department press secretary stated, “Partner organizations will support the pilot with apprenticeship opportunities, hiring events, digital matching of skills and experience, employment mentorship, and networking. These organizations also committed to employing veterans and offering employment referrals and placement, workforce training, and wrap-around service within communities for additional support services.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Assistant Secretary James Rodriguez to seek God’s leading as he oversees the VETS program.
- For wisdom for Secretary Marty Walsh as he heads the Labor Department.
- For veterans as they separate from the military and transition into other employment.
