Full report is expected to be completed by December 21.
Representative Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, chairman of the House’s Jan. 6 committee, confirmed that the committee will release its final report on December 21. The report will be a compilation of evidence, outlining the findings of the committee as well as recommendations and potential action items to prevent another such event from occurring.
The members of the committee have emphasized that they are still actively voting on the report’s concrete details and action items, though official criminal referrals may be a part of the final report. “The committee continues to meet,” said Representative Pete Aguilar of California, a committee member. “We will announce anything we have likely as a part of our final report.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For members of the committee as they finalize their finding and prepare their report.
- For U.S. officials as they analyze various methods to prevent rioting and terrorism.
- For judges and attorneys in the U.S. judicial system to apply and uphold the law impartially.
