Homeland Security’s domestic terror warning included “critical infrastructure.”
The Department of Homeland Security recently released a memo regarding the risk of domestic terrorism. “U.S. critical infrastructure” was listed among the vulnerable entities included in the bulletin. This past weekend, two substations in North Carolina were damaged by gunfire.
In recent weeks, at least five other attacks have occurred in Oregon and Washington. According to a federal law enforcement memo, “Power stations in Oregon and Washington have reported physical attacks on substations using handtools, arson, firearms, and metal chains possibly in response to an online call for attacks on critical infrastructure.”
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) confirmed attacks on two of its substations. Both PSE and Portland General Electric stated that they are cooperating with FBI investigations.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Director Christopher Wray to seek God’s direction as he oversees FBI investigations into the attacks on infrastructure.
- For Secretary Mayorkas to be led by the Lord as he leads efforts to prevent domestic terrorism.
- For state and local public officials and leaders in law enforcement as they seek to repair and protect critical infrastructure.
