$24 million in funding spread across 45 organizations and institutions.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced that $24 million will be invested in 45 training institutions for farming and ranching. USDA Under Secretary for Research, Education, and Economics Chavonda Jacobs-Young made the announcement, emphasizing the importance of fostering professional development programs that will help beginning farmers and ranchers acquire the wide range of skills they need to succeed.
“Investing in the professional development of our nation’s newest farmers and ranchers will help our food and agriculture sectors to flourish from the ground up,” said Unde Secretary Jacobs-Young. “Strengthening and growing our next generation pipeline is vital to the continued success of American agriculture and prosperity of rural communities.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For UnderSecretary Jacobs-Young as she oversees scientific research regarding agriculture.
- For USDA officials as they seek to support American farmers and ranchers.
- For Secretary Tom Vilsack to be led by God as he heads the USDA.
