Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. – Psalm 119:105
The road to God’s eternal Kingdom of life is open to all, anyone may walk the path to His gate. Jesus described the journey, “For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few“ (Matthew 7:14). The path leading to God’s gate surprises many with its difficult terrain. However, He is always by your side as you walk the path that sometimes leads between a rock and a hard place.
The world is full of creative people and inventive programs designed to make your life journey easier, but not one of them can lead you to God’s everlasting life! If you have set your mind to go God’s way, then His Word is your map, and His Spirit is your guide. You are not left alone to navigate the course, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you with my eye upon you” (Psalm 32:8).
Recognize that most will opt for the easy path offered by the world and will encourage you to go with them! “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14). Decide to go God’s way today. “Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
Pray for those in positions of authority to look to the Lord as they make difficult decisions, recognizing their need for divine strength over worldly wisdom as they face the challenges of governing America.

6 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
