The newest aid package includes refurbishing and repair of equipment.
The Department of Defense (DoD) has announced that they are contributing another weapons package for Ukraine’s defense against Russia. The $400 million package will provide refurbishing and repairs for armored vehicles, tanks, and defense missiles, as well as additional unmanned aerial systems and communications systems. These supplies will be sent to Ukraine from the U.S. weapons stockpile as early as December.
“The United States remains committed to supporting Ukraine’s near-term needs on the battlefield, and its long-term requirements to deter and defend against future Russian aggression,” Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and his administration as aid continues to be pledged and sent to Ukraine.
- For Pentagon officials as they gather data and information for military decision-makers.
- For wisdom for Secretary Austin as he oversees the U.S. military.
