Dr. Kenyon served as acting director for the NASA facility in recent months.
NASA Administrator Bill Nelson has named Dr. Jimmy Kenyon as the new director of the Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Kenyon has served as the acting director of the facility since June, leading 3,200 employees to support the Orion spacecraft, upkeep the Space Launch System, and continuing the research required to further American aeronautic development.
“Dr. Kenyon is an exceptional leader who will help propel Glenn and NASA forward as we revolutionize air transportation and venture farther into the cosmos than ever before,” said Administrator Nelson. “With Jimmy continuing his service to NASA as center director, I know the NASA family at Glenn will continue to improve life on Earth by making our research and technology accessible for the benefit of all humanity.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Administrator Nelson as he oversees NASA operations.
- For Director Kenyon as he officially settles into his role as head of the research facility.
- For wisdom for NASA officials as they pursue the continuation of space exploration.
