President Joe Biden is staying at his residence in Wilmington, Delaware, today, and is expected to spend time with family while preparing for the week ahead. In the afternoon, he will travel to Westchester County, New York, “to participate in a political event with Governor Kathy Hochul,” according to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
Early in the coming week, the president will travel around the country meeting with state and local officials and talking with residents about the importance of voting this November 8th. Starting on Thursday, the president will travel abroad for the 27th Conference of the Parties to the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), the annual U.S.-ASEAN Summit, the East Asia Summit, and the G20 Leaders’ Summit.
