Today, President Joe Biden is in Joliet, Illinois, where he will “deliver remarks on how we are lowering prescription drug costs and protecting Social Security and Medicare,” said White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. The president will share how he and administration officials are using the Inflation Reduction Act to continue to work to meet the healthcare needs of America’s seniors as well as his upcoming plans to lower costs across the nation.
In the afternoon, President Biden will head to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he will take part in campaign events with, Pennsylvania’s Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, Attorney General Josh Shapiro, and former President Barak Obama.
