She called the current voting climate a “complex threat environment.”
Director Jen Easterly of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), recently expressed concerns about the security of the current election cycle due to a wide range of threats. CISA has been alerting election centers about the cyber, insider, physical, and misinformation threats they may face and how to address areas where they coalesce.
“We are putting out information… to make sure that state and local election officials have the information that they need to protect their voting systems and their election infrastructure,” Director Easterly said.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Director Easterly to seek God’s guidance as she heads CISA.
- For Secretary Mayorkas to be discerning as he leads the Department of Homeland Security.
- For the safety and security of election officials and poll workers as the midterm elections occur.
