Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is expected to meet with local and state officials, business owners, and state residents to discuss what the administration is doing to boost infrastructure upgrades and job creation.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said ahead of the trip that the president will speak about how the administration is remaining “focused on delivering for the American people by lowering costs across the board” and “continuing to rebuild our economy from the bottom up and middle out.” The press secretary added that “He will discuss progress made on creating manufacturing jobs across the country.
The president will return to the White House in the evening.
