God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. – John 4:24
Where do you worship? This could be a tricky question. Most people think of “a place of worship” as a church or meeting house where believers gather. But worship takes place in the heart of a believer, the internal spirit house where God assists you in discovering His beauty and nature. As God reveals His character, you will find the truth of His love expressed in the life of Jesus Christ.
When Jesus was on Earth, He had real relationships with real people and, consistent with human nature, misunderstandings were a roadblock to be navigated. As the resurrected Christ said farewell to His followers, He reassured them they soon could join Him in a place He would prepare for them. Thomas expressed confusion, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” (John 14:5).
Once again, Christ clarified eternal truth for those who love Him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). He did not describe one of many ways to get to the Father’s house, He revealed the ONLY way… through Him. Jesus Christ is the only way to enter the Father’s Kingdom. This is the truth of God’s plan for humankind.
Your physical place of worship is important but not mission-critical. The way to God’s Kingdom will always be found by those placing faith in Jesus Christ. Pray for those in positions of authority and leadership across America to ground their lives in God’s truth, the revelation of His Son.

9 And they sang a new song, saying,
“Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation,
10 and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”
11 Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice,
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
