The online resource assists in program implementation.
Last week, the Department of Commerce announced the launch of the CHIPS.gov website. Paired with President Biden’s executive order, the website was created to be the main hub for all information related to the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) Act. Prioritizations, funding opportunities, timelines, guidelines, and more will be made available through this website and the implementation of the CHIPS Act progresses.
“The Commerce Department has been preparing for months for the passage of the CHIPS and Science Act, and we are excited to get to work implementing this historic set of investments in America’s innovation, R&D, and semiconductor manufacturing,” said Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Raimondo to seek God’s direction as she oversees the implementation of the new government website.
- For Commerce officials as they assist in the rollout of the information and assistance around the new legislation.
- For the president and his advisors as they craft domestic manufacturing programs and policies.
