Webinar cultivates public and private health collaboration.
The Department of Health and Human Services hosted a webinar on Thursday with 15 health technology startups participating in the inaugural PandemicX cohort. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted gaps in key areas within health administrations, such as data collection and equity barriers. These startups came together to propose technology-based solutions to those issues, which they developed during a six-month program funded by the health department.
“The world needs technological and business innovation to increase equitable assets and to create a resilient society,” said Micky Tripathi, U.S. National Coordinator for Health IT. He continued, “We know HealthTech startups are a force of good to help make wellness, health, and wealth an accessible right, not a privilege. You cannot have health without resilience; you cannot have health without inclusion.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Coordinator Tripathi as he oversees collaborative efforts in health technology.
- For HHS officials as they seek to resolve issues that were highlighted by the coronavirus pandemic.
- For Secretary Becerra as efforts are made to augment public health efforts with private sector capabilities.
