The event seeks to strengthen the domestic supply chain.
On Wednesday, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and Port Envoy General Stephen Lyons hosted a meeting for Freight Logistics Optimization Works (FLOW) participants. FLOW was launched by President Biden’s administration in March to develop a digital tool for companies to quickly and accurately tap into the inner workings of the American supply chain. There are now 36 members of FLOW all working together to conduct listening sessions between small businesses and experts to develop this robust, complex technology.
“To keep supply chains moving and prices down, we must invest not only in our physical infrastructure but also our digital infrastructure, and FLOW is an important part of that effort,” said Secretary Buttigieg.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Buttigieg as he seeks to reduce interruptions in the supply chain.
- For discernment for General Lyons as he fulfills his role as Port Envoy.
- For the participants of the Freight Logistics Optimization Works as they develop supply chain strategies.
